sorry for the radio silence on my end guys, life started getting nuts this summer and hasn't slowed down all the way yet >< ive been working hard the last few months on getting things sorted out and fixed so that it doesn't happen again but in the meantime i apologize if my presence here is very spotty. not intending to leave or anything like that, just a bit overloaded at the moment.

i've been struggling to be productive with art for the last.... ugh like 5 years? lots of compounding issues i won't get into but part of it is also that my own characters are getting stale for me and frustrating to draw. so, i figured it wouldn't hurt to try something new. got an OC? slap a link in the comments. any species or style or type will do.

at the end of this week i am going to be moving back to my home state of CT, first time i'll be living there again since the 90s. the last 18 years i've spent in the south and midwest so i'm looking forward to getting back to my roots, so to speak. i am going to have to become the proverbial '20-something living in their parents basement looking for work' for a few months, which i don't love, but i'm optimistic that the time will give a chance to de-stress and (ideally) focus on art. i've been working 45/50hr workweeks for the past 4 years and while it's been good for

Does the image include a character of mine? Then no.
Was the image a commission/trade/gift for someone else? Then no.
Is the image available for commercial use? Then no.
Does the image include no owned characters, was not drawn for anyone specific, and is not being used commercially? Then yes as long as I am credited as the artist and you link back to the original on DA. Neither of these are optional.

Hi all, just wanted to formally announce that I will be attending MFF this weekend along with my wonderful friends Avyris ( SoldierYena (https://www.deviantart.com/soldieryena) ) and Johis ( Lhuin (https://www.deviantart.com/lhuin) )! We will all be wearing at least one badge with our names on it so if you see us please come and say hi, I love meeting people! I hope things start lightening up for you! I can relate it seems like things been hectic for me as well with a never ending tidal wave of college stuff and other things crashing in on me. I hope you can get a good break!
