If you would like to give me some ideas and have me design a character for you, add $10 to the price of what type of image you're ordering. For example if you ordered a flat-colored image of a character you have me design, it would be $35: $25 + $10.
If you have an idea that is not listed here, such as a piece in my gallery you like the style of, feel free to message me for a price estimate. Please note that the MINIMUM order for a commission is $10.
Shading can be done either as cell shading, painted shading, or gradient shading. Cell shading is +$10, gradient and painted shading is +$15.
Exceptionally complicated characters (for instance a Cerberus with 3 heads, a character with 20 pieces of jewelry, etc) will have a minor fee added due to the extra time they require.
Backgrounds can be done as either transparent, minimal (simple texture or graphics), rough painted, or full painted.
Full Painted (more simple to more detailed): sta.sh/020dihgvf4ax
Transparent/Minimal backgrounds will not add a charge. For painted backgrounds, it will vary in price due to how detailed the background is; minimum of $10, maximum of $50.
Two characters in an image is double the price, three is triple, etc. (This does not include the price of the background). If one character is being majorly overlapped/obscured, that may reduce the price.
I only take payments via Paypal - no mailed cash, checks, credit cards, and ABSOLUTELY NO DA POINTS.
For orders under $25, you must pay in full, upfront.
For orders over $25, I require at least 50% of the payment up front and the remaining 50% before I show you anything beyond a cleaned sketch. Or you can pay in full upfront, your choice. Paying in full is suggested, but not required. I cannot do payment plans, please only pay in at most two increments.
My prices are non-negotiable. Please do not try and haggle.
If you need to back out of a commission, please tell me as soon as possible. I will refund you in full if I am not past the cleaned sketch stage. If I am past that, I'll try and refund you for an appropriate percentage of your payment. I understand that financial issues come up (and sometimes I work slow and that annoys people, no hard feelings) so I will try and work with you to get a refund if you require one. However keep in mind there are limits to this; I can't refund you if the picture is very close to completion, and I definitely can't refund you in full if progress has already been made.
If you require a refund, please send me an e-mail labeled REFUND to Hzs91@hotmail.com

Will NOT draw:

-Excessive, explicit violence (i.e. heads exploding, innards falling out)
-Racially/demographically offensive material
-Veins or hearts (I am extremely phobic of these and would like that to be respected)
-Fetishes or anything related to them (i.e. characters made out of latex, characters rubbing their feet, etc)
-Tattoo designs (I am NOT comfortable with my work being used as a tattoo)
While I can't guarantee that I will get your commission done lightning-fast, I will try my best to get your order to you in a timely manner. Please note that depending on the type of art you order, your waiting time will increase/decrease - for example, a simple sketch will take less time than a colored image with a background. Due to the unpredictabilities of life, commissions may take upwards of 2-3 months; if they go longer than that I am usually able to offer discounts as compensation. However I try to keep to a turnaround time of under one month.
You will get as many WIPs of the picture as you feel is necessary Typically I give one for rough sketches (to choose a pose/composition you like), one for the cleaned sketch (to ensure the character is drawn to your liking), one for flat colors (to ensure the design is correct) and then the end image which you can tweak to your liking, if needed. You may request more (or less) frequent WIPs, however keep in mind that the more you request/send back, the longer the process takes. If that's not a problem I'm happy to communicate with the best I can.
If having a specific deadline is important to you, please specify that WHEN YOU ORDER. It's inconsiderate of you to ask for a commission and send me a note a few weeks later angry at me because it needs to be done right then and there. If you are polite in your explanations I will almost always be more than happy to work with your schedule, but please remember my limitations... I can't paint an entire picture in one day. Allow for time if you have a deadline.
Rush order jobs may incur an additional fee depending on the complexity of your order and how much faster you want it.
The easiest way to contact me is by sending me a note, although my email at HZS91@hotmail.com also works fine. I will send you work-in-progress images at the concept, sketched, and colored stages so you can verify everything is correct and/or suggest changes you'd like. When completed, I will send you the finished image and a high resolution copy of the image.
I am always willing to work with the customer so the final image is exactly to your liking. That being said, please try to be as specific as you can when offering critiques, and have photo/art references if necessary to help you explain. I will not charge a fee for doing some (less than 5) revisions of a picture, but keep in mind that it does slow down the process if your critiques are vague or contradictory.
By commissioning me, you are agreeing to pay me in full for any work of art past a sketch. I will not start work until I have at least a 50% deposit, and will not show you anything past a sketch without the other half. I am fine with waiting if you need time, or if need be, refunding you. I can NOT refund you if you've already received art that is complete or nearly-complete.
Upon completion, you will receive two files, one in display size and one in working size (hi-res). Do not repost the hi-res file, it is for your personal private use. You may edit it or use it for icons, layouts, etc, but please do not post the hi-res file itself. You may post the display size file wherever you wish, all I ask is that you please give a link back to my DA/FA page, or at least have my name marked down somewhere. Otherwise, they are yours to use as you please.
If I am particularly satisfied with how an image turns out I may ask to submit it to DA/FA and/or use it in my portfolio; you are free to decline if you want to keep your image private or remain anonymous.
If you are interested in commissioning me and I am open, please note me Thank you!
