Artist's Comments

This is pretty nonsensical, I just felt like fiddling around. I got several people asking me how I did the background on my pic "Ten Thousand Fireflies" so I showed the general process.

This isn't the promised bg video, I'll be making a much one better one for that.

Your tutorials help alot, I don't have (and probably never will have) photoshop but you can still apply some of the stuff to other things So thanks for taking the time to do them :)

I am who I am. Deal with it.

I absolutely love this. (lol I said I was going to bed but Youtube distracted me for a moment or two)

But I caution you about this tutorials. You don't want to give away too many of your stylistic secrets, just as a bit of fyi. Otherwise, people all over will start copying and emulating you and your style as an artist will become less unique.

Now of course, all artists grow so I'm sure any holes dug will be dug out of. But it's just kind of a word to the wise sort of deal. I know I personally found my style of shading... idk, something about it spoke books to me, which is why I do my shading the way I do. Not in terms of cell shading, soft shading, blah blah blah. But I mean... on a level so intangible, even I don't understand it. And I feel like, after making my shading tutorial, I lost a lot of that since all these newbies have now started copying me.

So I'm just letting you. I felt like I forfeited a piece of me when I uploaded my shading tutorial and, since you are doing this with your whole process of making artwork, I caution you to make sure you don't give away too much about your personal technique. Remember that people will likely copy the images in these line for line... unfortunately.

Idk. Just thought I'd say. X3 As helpful as these are, I'd for you to lose that intangible sense of style that I felt like I lost.
